It’s a lion, oh wait! It’s a dog, no wait, it’s a doglion – a doglion? Oh, it’s just a smartly groomed lion-like dog I found near a town called Kausani, in the Indian state called Uttarakhand – often referred to as the ‘land of the gods’. The dog’s hair seems to have been deliberately shaved to make it look like a distant cousin of some infamous lion. What’s even more funny is that I found the dog in front of three salons, lined up next to each other. And that made me wonder if both dog and male members of the town were once customers to the same salon, which used the same scissor and comb to cut their hairs.

I am a 30 year old engineer by degree but an aspiring writer by heart and the mind. Although I am 30, but you may find me talk like a 60 with dreams that of a 10. For me, writing is the best channel of expression as I can edit and rephrase my thoughts before I give it to the world to judge it. Not that I deride speaking, which I can do for hours, but when I speak, it is devoid of any restrains. I love to ride more than I drive, I love to feel the wind lashing across my chest and when the night falls, I like gazing at the stars - searching for the meaning of life. I have so much stuff inside my head that only makes me wonder, how much more I got to explore.
